About the event
Enjoy a drum-filled family concert at Private Picassos Art Studio for Kids in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn. Little ones (and their grownups) will sing, clap, and jam along to songs from Greg’s debut kids album, Rocking Chair Music with Greg Stare, including the fan-favorite “Choo Choo.” Greg will be singing with his guitar and harmonica and joined by violinist Claudia Mogel and percussionist Madhu Siddappa. Shakers and drums provided, but feel free to bring your own instruments.
Greg Stare is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and producer. His debut kids album, Rocking Chair Music with Greg Stare, features 'Choo Choo,' which earned him a 2025 American Songwriter award. In 2011, he created Rocking Chair Sing and Drum-Along, an interactive music class for kids that quickly became one of Greenpoint, Brooklyn’s most beloved singalongs.
