Down on the rug with his guitar and harmonica, Greg shapes each class in real time — weaving together original and familiar tunes, moving from soft and steady to full-on jams, and finding a balance between structure and spontaneity. Kids explore a curious mix of seriously good shakers, a tongue drum that sings, and big things that go BOOM! As a dad of two, he brings patience, humor, and intuition to his classes — a space where shy kids can warm up, curious kids can explore, and caregivers can groove a little too.
Greg Stare is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and producer. His debut kids album, Rocking Chair Music with Greg Stare, features 'Choo Choo,' which earned him a 2025 American Songwriter award. In 2011, he created Rocking Chair Sing and Drum-Along, an interactive music class for kids that quickly became one of Greenpoint's most beloved singalongs.
While the class is designed for ages 0–2, older children are welcome at the caregiver’s discretion.
