Rocking Chair Sing & Drum-Along is a hands-on music class for babies and toddlers that celebrates rhythm, song, and improvisation. Weaving together original and familiar tunes — including songs from Greg’s 2024 children’s album — kids explore a curious mix of shakers, a tongue drum that sings, and big things that go BOOM!
Down on the rug with his guitar and harmonica, Greg shapes each class in real time — moving from soft and steady to full-on jams, finding a balance between structure and spontaneity. As a dad of two, he brings patience, humor, and intuition to his classes - a space where shy kids can warm up, curious kids can explore, and caregivers can groove a little too.
Greg Stare is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and producer. His debut kids album, Rocking Chair Music with Greg Stare, features 'Choo Choo,' which earned him a 2025 American Songwriter award. In 2011, he created Rocking Chair Sing and Drum-Along, an interactive music class for kids that quickly became one of Greenpoint's most beloved singalongs.
